hi
i am going to travel to india with my six months old son i breast feed him exclusively can anyone tell me how will i feed him during the travel we will start at 8 in the morning ,change a plain and then take a direct flight to india for 15 hr,so app time of journey is 28 _29 hr .if i give him formula during that my breast would be so sour , has anyone tried pumping in the plane or at airport restrooms please share ur experience i am really worried i dont want to stop breat feeding so soon

thanks for the advise ,i was a little concerned about breast feeding in public but i guess a lot of people do it so i too will go ahead with that .

Hi! I too will be travelling withing the country and will be taking a flight. I too will have to feed my baby with braestmoilk in the plane. I always crry a small blanket with me whereever I go. That help to cover while feeding. Don´ t worry. Nobody will even bother to look your way. Moreover who cares if they do. Baby´ s wellbeing is of utmost importance to us isn´ t it? Good luck.

I also travelled with my son on a 12 hour flight when he was six months old. I had no problem breastfeeding at my seat during the flight. You can request a seat near a bassinet which gives some privacy.

i have same problem when i vsit from india to us.with my 1 month baby.but dont worry.u dont have any probleme.just do not take tensations contiunus the exclusive feeeding in the airplane & airport to the baby.just take solid food.for ur satisfacrtion u may take formula milk with u.but u dont need that.
continu with ur milk factory in plain also.

According to my gyno, I have some special hormones due to which i can easily lactate and due to that my motherly instincts are extremely high. I was lactating until 1 yr back & I still can induce if i want to breastfeed anyone.
