Hair greys because pigment cells in the hair base at the roots of the hair
stop producing melanin.
hair can turn black again if it is premature greying. by following a proper diet and ofcourse treating it with natural products, it wont. first of all, let me tell you, if you are parlour treating yoyr hair or using any chemical products for your hair, stop immediately. remember, go to the parlour for hair cuts only and avoid visiting it for other reasons for your hair- either for straightening or bleaching or colouring or dying or for what ever reason. do a good oil massage at home every week and use good almond and coconut oil combination for your hair.
first let me tell you about your diet:
1) take protein rich food like sprouted beans, cereals, meat (if u r a non-veggie) and soya.
2) increase the iron content in your body by taking leafy green vegetables, spinach,fruits, vegetable salads (carrot, betroot, cucumber, tomatoes, spring onions,celery,cabbage,boiled cauliflower and peas,etc- you may not like to eat it just like that with salt. so you can make it tasty by adding some pepper, mayonaise sauce and a few drops of tomato sauce in it. with a few drops of olive oil, and sprouted beans also taste very good in the salad).
3)take atleast 2 bananas every day.
4) take a cup of curd in the afternoon or anytime you feel like eating something. meat, chicken, fish are good as well.
5) use sunflower oil instead of any toher oil for cooking.
6)eat an egg everyday.
7) take a teaspoon of honey, a teaspoon of ginger juice and half a lemon and mix with hot water and drink every morning.
8) drink a lot of water- atleast 8 litres in the beginning.
now, samhita, treat your hair by
1) Mix ground, dried gooseberries in lemon juice and make a paste. Apply this on greying hair. Gradually, the hair will turn black again. This also cures other problems related to hair and scalp.
2) Mix 10 ground black peppers in one cup curd and wash hair with this mixture. This will soften the hair and blacken them as well. Do this at least once a week for good results.
3) In half a cup of curd mix the juice of one lemon and massage into scalp. Leave on for 20 minutes and then wash. This will make the hair soft and will reduce the greying of hair.
4) massage your hair with coconut oil and lemon juice everyday.
5) mix 1 tablespoon of salt to a cup of strong black tea without milk and massage the water on the scalp and wash off after 1 hour. it will blacken.
6) make a paste of henna powder, i teaspoon of curd, 1 teaspoon of fenugreek (methi/ vendhiyam), 3 teaspoon of coffee powder, 2 teaspoon of mint juice and apply on hair and wash off after 3 hours.
7) you can also prepare an oil for your hair that will always keep your hair black and healthy and hair wont fall as well. dry 4/5 red hisbiscus flowers, a hand full of red hibiscus leaves, hand full of red rose petals, a few neem leaves and few tulsi leaves. cut 3 lemons and squeeze out its juice and dry it along with the flowers and leaves. let it dry for 3/ 4 days in the sun till all of them become very dry and brittle. then, heat coconut oil and add 2 teaspoon of fenugreek and the rest of dried ingredients and bring to a boil and lower the flame and let the essense of the natural products blend into the oil. the process should take some 10 to 15 minutes. dont let the oil burn. remove from fire and let it cool. once let it stay for a day. the second day, remove it and filter it. mix 2 teaspoon of castor oil and 2 teaspoon of almond oil in it and apply it on your hair everyday. this oil can last you 2 or 3 weeks. make fresh oil and dont stock it for more than a month. although it wont expire infact, it is very good. but you may not like the smell. but have to bear it, samhita, if you need good results.
please do all these things. and dont feel lazy to do these. the processes need your time and patience. but this is the right time to bring your hair back to normal, and you need to take the effort, samhita. its general tendency of women to lose hope and patience and stop trying. but you dont, samhita. take your time in trying eah of these patiently and your hair is guarenteed to turn blask and thats my wada.
