Hi guys, just wanted to tell you not to worry too much about the tummy size....
I go to my childbirth classes every week and everyone there (including some expecting in December) seem to have bigger tummies than me..

We are all in more or less the same boat..

I used to worry too but then I saw 100's of pregnant belly pictures on the net and found some women to have smaller tummies than me...made me feel much better...
I guess it just has to do with our body type and also genetics. Also, Women here are much bigger than us on the average and therefore the bigger tummies..thats my take on that...

AS long as the fundal height seems alright, we can relax and not worry too much... :)

Thanks for your comforting words.

I am just hoping to have atleast a 6-6.5 pounds baby with my tummy size.

You are right, each woman has her own body type & genetics.

I can't wait for the U/S to make sure everything is fine.

Hi girls. Heard that sometimes the weight we gain goes to the baby and we could be surprised to have a bigger baby than we expect and I hope that is the case. We wouldn't want it to be all water and chottu baby! Fingers crossed that all our babies are healthy and rolie polie!

Vindhya, My fingers are crossed for the same when it comes to baby size..cause baby's do lose a bit of weight in the first few weeks so atleast 6 - 6.5 pounds would be good..a pound or two more would be great too...:)

You will get a rough estimate of the baby weight on Oct 4th and I am sure you will feel much better after that..
