Hi all
I am in my 38th week and not been checked for dilation. I dont know if my doc will do an internal examination. Have my check up tomorrow. But what happened yday was that my mucus plug had come off. I read that it can happen anwhere between 2 days to 2 weeks before delivery. Hope all the moms to be on the board are doing fine with their babies.....wonder who is going to go next....I have a feeling that my baby will be on time.Not earlier.
What about the movements. Mine have become very less now and doc says that I should be able to count atleast 10 for a day....sharmila

Hi Sharmila, How do I know if the mucus plug is off? it is like a white discharge or pink one?
wish you to have safe and comfortable delivery for you and your lil one.. have u finalized your baby name yet?

Like bhargavi mentioned I too have heard that once the mucous plug is off its good to be more cautious as there is chance to fluid leakege. Please do keep us updated on what your doc said.

sharmila i think u must speak to ur doctor as u say that ur mucous plug came off.i think this will cause the amniotic fluid to leak out.anyway u have ur appointment today so best of luck.do keep us informed what doc told so that we may not panic in a similar situation.
i had my internal exam last week ie 37 and doc said baby has not yet fixed.movements have decreased and i am having a 3rd sono this week.i am looking forward to it coz it will be more xiting and i can see my baby fully
in form and shape.
