Hello All,
For those of you, who is in their second trimester, how much weight did you guys gain? I am almost in my 18th week but have gained only 4 lbs by now. Is it the case with everyone or I am not gaining enough weight? Someone at my work is 3 weeks ahead and has gained 17 lbs. already. That's why do you think this is something to worry about for now or is it ok?

I've gained about 6 lbs in the sec. trimester. I'm not worried about it. As long as the doctor thinks it's fine, it should be ok.

Hi Arshiya

I am in my 14th week now, and I have gained only 2 lbs so far. I didnt gain anything in my 1st trimester, just the last 2 weeks. I talked to my doctor about it, and she said that everybody has a different weight gain pattern so we should not compare. Just keep eating right, and you will gain the necessary amount sooner or later.

So dont worry!
