yesterday again i had an ultrasound .here are the updates
fetal ht rate 133
fetal wt 2859 gms
BPD 9.4cms
FL 7.2 cms
Abd Circum 30.6 cms
Head Circum 32 cms
FTA 74.6AFI 8.2
The doc says that the AFI is slightly on the lower side and a single cord loop seen encircling the fetal neck partially
Moreover the head circumference is also slightly on the higher side
Me being a bit short in stature the doc says chances of a normal delivery is very thin that leaves me wied the opton of a c-section
wat do u say archie? i myself am ok wid anything as long as the baby is healthy ,fine and safe. i know watever the procedure i ll have to undergo the pain and God will give the strenght to endure it.but how long do u think i shud wait if at all i wait for the cord to slip and for the head to fix my edd is on 29 jan
waiting for ur earnest reply coz however cool i may appear i m tensed and afraid for the baby's wll being to my innermost core but not worried abt tthe pain just that reduced movements r giving me sleepless nites and the cord has put me in undue tension.Being all alone at home adds to the pressure

your baby is good size baby, 6 pound and 5 ounces.
It's ready to come anytime and by the way you only have 18 days. If you can't take this uncertainty well go ahead and schedule an induction.

Baby is not big. If all goes fine in hospital you might end up giving a vaginal birth. But if baby can't cope up with labor stress and cord gets complicated you can choose to undergo emergency C-section. If possible you can put this plan to your OB and see what's in store.
If waited for EDD then chances of C-section are high because of increased head circumferance but in a week or less than that it should be OK.

Baby is full term and some weak movements are expected. But having known cord situation you can get admitted and try for induction than making direct entry into an operation theatre.

Since you want a healthy baby and have mind prepared for C-section if required I felt easy to provide a birth plan. Now to execute or wait is your choice.

Dont worry about anything. Everything is going to turn fine. Something or the other happens to everybody which leaves them worrying towards the end.. but everything is just to end well.. Being alone at home this time is a pain and I am with you in that. Lets just hope that it is not too long.
