Hi Sonia,

I am using medala advanced pump in style which can be used to pump from both breast simultaneously. but its not available in india. u can however also buy medela mini elctric...its available at all mothercare stores in india and is also pretty good. my sis-in-law used it and her feedback was good. but ya start expressing preferbaly post 6 weeks of breastfeeding..by that time breastfeeding directly wud be well extablished.

Hi,

I would suggest a mum shdl but brest pump only once the baby has sucessfully latched on to her. my baby would not latch on to my brests but on midwives suggestion i would pump milk...but i developed mestities which was very painful

According to my gyno, I have some special hormones due to which i can easily lactate and due to that my motherly instincts are extremely high. I was lactating until 1 yr back & I still can induce if i want to breastfeed anyone.
