Hi Arti,

I can understand your state. My kid is also kinda same. Instead of bottle, he takes the pacifier whenver he gets up at night. Touch wood he is getting better these days.
Few things for you to check -
1. Does she take proper dinner before sleep (just to ensure she is not hungry at night)
2. Dont give gassy things in dinner(like arhar daal, cauliflower)
3. Is she feeling cold at night
4. If everything else is fine then bottle is the culprit
- dont give bottle for 2-3 days. Let her cry. But you have to be strict.
She has to learn to sleep without that.
For my son we had to do that. He used to wake up just to take the pacifier, 4-5 times at night.
One day I just made myself firm and saw him crying for 3-4 days, he even vomited some days, read books to him for more than hour some days
and thankfully things are improving now.
He sleeps and his sleep is getting better because he no longer wants the pacifier at night.
I know its difficult, but one day you have to take the decision.
Hope this helps
MG

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
