My EDD is 2nd April 2008. Can anyone tell me a tips to make my baby inteligent.

I have heard that if mum listen classical music when they r preg. babies r intillegent and once your baby is born make sure your baby listen classical music everyday be4 going to bed. raj replied. Like someone has pointed out Almonds soaked in water is good. Then you need to have a good amount of Omega-3 fatty acids. Flaxseeds(linseeds) are the healthiest source of omega-3. You should grind it into powder and you can add it salads(dark green vegetable salad very good for brains) and juices. Carrot and apple puree is also very good for brains. But this study of apple and carrot puree was on feeding kids. It raised their IQ. Nothing mentioned about mothers but you can take your chances you have nothing to lose as it tastes great.
Remember keep out anything preservatives and food additives, like MSG, aspartame, sodium benzoate(found in jams squash soft drinks sodas and packaged fruit juices). Get everything natural and fresh. make everything from a scratch.
Remember after kid is born. The major brain development of a kid takes place within the 3and a half years of age and upto 6 years. So see that you give you kid a balanced diet.No tinned baby food. Lots of mothers milk and later on homemade desi ghee.(made traditionally i.e. adding curd to the cream and keeping overnight, after that make the butter and heat and make ghee).
Someone mentioned about wanting a healthy child rather than a smart one. I would like to a say a healthy body leads to a healthy mind and following the above will definately guarantee good health of the baby too.

instead of intelligent baby, you must wish for a healthy baby. Think positive aboutthe baby. Talk positive when the baby is in.

The baby will carry your chromosones, so donn start putting the burden of your expectations on baby.

If you can give the baby good environment, it will have high IQ and EQ anyways.
