When does one start to increase weight? I have just increased by 1kg at the end of 14th week. Heard that by the time of delivery, we should have increased by 10kgs!! How is this possible?? Earlier mothers can give some pointers..please?

I have recently joined. My due date is 4th Dec 2002.

Before pregnancy i was 43. In the first three months it reduced to 42. Now I am in my 5th month and my last weight yesterday showed 45 kgs

As per I know if we do not have vomiting problem we shouls gain around 1.2 kg in first three months. in witch baby is 18gm. During next three months we are expect to gain about 5 to 7 kg. 50 to 60% of total pregnancy weight gain. we gain 0.5 kg. per month. After 24 weeks it will be around 0.5 kg. per week and if one is underweight when preganncy began she gain at a faster rate then this. During the final months we probably gain about 4 kg. 30 to 40% of total pregnancy weight gain.
So in second three months take care of your diet and eat healthy food as much as you can. if you gain around 13 kg. in your pregnancy you come back to your original weight faster.

I was around 43/44Kgs when pregnancy confirmed.Now in the 12th week and am at 41.I heard it is normal to lose weight in first trimester.But am worried.I too want to know when one starts to gain weight ? DK replied. I too, have only put up 1 kg or so. I am in my 14th week. I am also having the same question.

Experienced mothers' help/inputs required. :-)
