Subject:  You can do Yoga

There are lot of yoga cassattes available in the market. I do yoga 3-4 times a week. I feel better after doing those exercise. Even if I was doing yoga before getting pregnant, I stopped during my first trimetser. and started from last week. It is my 13th week. You can do floor exercises while sitting and lying on back. I am using Shiva Rhea DVD. It is really good. Will surely help me duing labor.

Hope this helps.

Are both your legs hurting or it only one. - Some women hurt only on one leg - its due to scciatica - baby rests heavily on one nerve and that causes your leg to hurt - there are a couple of tricks you could do to relieve this pain. One is to go down on your fours - sit like a horse - on your palms and knees. this will relieve some pressure. There are other yogasanas you could do too. About being active. Yes its important to stay active during pregnancy. Of course you dont have to over exert but should walk regularly - it helps in the long run.

Hi Ruchi...congratulations...i had the same problem in my first pregnancy...what worked best for me was...hot/warm oil massages from my husband...if you cant walk dont...you can hurt yourself...you can use any oil..preferrably oils that calm your nerves and sooth your senses...massages from your husband will relax you and your baby's blood will flow better...one of the best relaxation methods for a prgnant woman...RELAX...do little walks not long ones

diet during pregnancy
Maintaining a healthy diet during pregnancy is very important.

During this time, your body needs additional nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

In fact, you may need 350–500 extra calories each day during the second and third trimesters.

A diet lacking in key nutrients may negatively affect the baby’s development.
