HI there,
i know it mght be very fustrating and takes its toll on mother coz without sleep its difficult to go through the days chores..are you positively sure that his tummy is full?after he takes his bath, give him some extra milk.If possible invest in a baby rocker/cradle.
in case he does get up after some time dont [pick him up immediately. keep the lights off with one night lite and soothe him. avoid talking and all.
there sre some baby soothing musical toys...play one for him and he will stay occupied.
also does he cry during the nite a lot? if yes, it mite be gas/colic

I also had same problem when my son was 2 months old so I gave him dummy. Babies at this age do need a comfoter it can be a soft toy or baby comfoter blanket but i found dummy was best, give it to your son but once he settle down remove it from his mouth, dont leave it in his mouth or anothere thing u can try is when ever your baby wake up pick him up cuddle him give him some rocking n put him back to bed, if he wake up again after 5 or 6 min do same then he will get the message that u r there n he will feel secure. if u choose dummy go for orthodox one as they wont harm there teeths , n make a point to get rid of it around when your LO is 9 months.cos after this age they start remmembering the things, that' s wot i did, my son was unsettle for 2 night without dummy but was fine after that.try to give an extra OZ of milk in his last bottle n if he wake up at 1 or 2 give dummy if he wake up at 4 give milk. i am wrtting this cos i did the same honey see if this work for u.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
