Hello

My wife is 6 weeks pregnant. This is our first pregnancy. She recently found couple of reddish spots in her urine. We visited the doctor who advised us to go in for an Ultrasound scan.
The scan report mentioned \" Early Live Intrauterine pregnancy of 6 weeks 4 days with thin subchorionic collection\" .
Doctor stated this is \" Threatened Abortion\" and that there is internal blood. She advised weekly HCG injections and progestrone tablets twice a day and also bed rest. I am quite worried and hope someone here could answer the following queries.

1. What precautions should we take to ensure that there is no chance of a miscarriage?
2. How does the HCG injections and the progrstrone tablets help?
3. Also the report said the fetal heart rate is 111 beats per minute. Is this low for a 6 weeks 4 days pregnancy?
4. If the fetal heart rate is less, is there something that can be done [any kind of food or any other tip] to help increase the fetal heart rate.
