Has your baby ever experienced cradle cap? What methods did you use to remove the flakes? How long did it take your baby' s skin to clear up?

cradle cap is not a disease. don' t use to much shampoo or soap on babys head. buy a baby hair brush and bursh gently and it will go away in few days. it is normal in some infants. one of friends daughter had it when she was born and it all cleared up in few days.

After reading the article i learnt that the flakes on my babys scalp is cradle cap and not dandruff. I massage his scalp and give him a head bath almost everyday, now i know those flakes would go off eventually. My problem is my baby does not have too much hair on his scalp, hes 4 months old now, i feel his hair is shedding, cause he had lot of hair when he was born but now hes lost alot of it, what do i do to bring about somne good and healthy hair growth

In your article you have said to use almond or olive oil for the baby' s scalp. I wanted to ask whether we can also use coconut oil or other types of oil since these oils are more easily available in the market than the ones you have mentioned.

My son too had cradle cap when he was a baby. He grew out of it later. He is four years old now. Recently I noticed that he has again started getting flakes on his head. Is the cradle cap recurring or is this something else?

I had no idea this condition existed. I always thought that babies look like the ones you see on TV. Whoever heard of babies getting dandruff? Don' t you need hair first? I guess there' s a lot of things I need to learn first. Good thing I don' t have any children yet.

Reading this article made me remember when my son was a baby. He developed cradle cap and both my husband and I thought he was suffering from some terrible disease. Thanks god, the doctor diagnosed him and said that there was no need to worry. He would grow out of it. By the time he was 8 months, his scalp was clear.

My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
