When I feel the baby is awake ,if I lay my hands on my belly, the baby starts kicking there.Even my hubby has also started follwing the trick,if he taps the stomach lightly ,the baby gives him a kick.I don't know whether we are bothering our little one,but we feel very happy when we get the response.:).Does it happen with u people also??

pranjal replied. We r also playing with baby in the same way...we also keep talking to him from start...now if we talk to him/her he responds.....its really nice to feel...even i can see movements on my tummy...!
Nikita replied. Hi Jaya,
Even I've felt the same, whenever i feel slightest of movement, I put my hand there and bang one nice hard kick, as if he/she is playing football inside :-)
My husband too does the same and we really enjoy playing \";football\"; with lil one.
But once in a while, we also get same response as Vindhya's baby, he'll be kicking and if either one of us puts our hand there, kicking is gone. And once we take our hand off, in a couple of mins, u feel it again. So I guess they too enjoy it and don't feel bothered.
Enjoy the kicking and take care.
Regards/Nikita.
Vindhya replied. Hi Jaya,
It must be a real nice feeling. Both you and your husband deserve to enjoy it. I don't think you are bothering the baby at all, even he/she will be happy to know that his parents are talking to him.
In my case, I wait for the baby to kick and put my hand on my tummy. Whoosh.. the kicks are gone. I think she is trying to play with me. Poor husband hasn't felt a kick till now :)
So, enjoy.

Avi replied. Hey Jaya, like Simmi says its a part of bonding with your baby...and I am pretty sure it isn't a bother to the baby either.
Sure feels nice when the baby responds to you.. Enjoy..
Simmi replied. Hi Jaya. Lovely to hear that you and your hubby are enjoying communicating with ur baby. U R not disturbing the baby, it is all part of bonding with the baby. Talk while you feel the tummy and the baby knows ur voice by default but would bond with ur hubby too.
I too get kicks back when I feel the baby is active, however, my hubby is not lucky enough, he don't get as instant a response as he would like! But the baby sure likes kicking back! Enjoy....

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a Diaper Service Provider in Bangalore? They generally provide cloth diapers and replace them with a new set every 2-3 days.
