is it safe to have the baby to sleep in the ghodiyu, and if so for how long and until what age? My 4 month sleeps the best in the ghodiyu but I am worried that he will become addicted to it and I will have problems later. please help!

Hi Aditi, I puchased a ghodiyi for my daughter and she loves it. It free' s up our bed so now she is next to us. I highly recommend going to a website called, Riascrazydeals for a ghodiyu. They have several models. I purchased the Elite model because I can fold it up and take it to my parents house over the weekend so my husband and I can go to the movies :-) .

nothing wrong or unsafe about using a ghodiyu - indians have been using them since preRaam Bhagwan era.

they recommend baby be put on back to prevent SIDS also they recommend babies be swaddled which the ghodiyu does both of these... just make sure your child doesn' t use the ghodiyu as the only means to go to sleep - during the day have the baby sleep on the bed and for a restful night for both you and the baby use the ghodiyu.

i have same concern. my baby is 7 and 1/2. i found she is not sleeping well in night if i keep her in ghodiyu for daytime nap. but its not true for all babies. somehow i feel and also read its good for babies if they sleep flat as far as possible. ghodiyu is good for initial 2-3 months.its completely personal opinion.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
