Our joys of success in our first IVF cycle were short lived. We lost the baby after 8 weeks of pregnancy. We were wondering how soon can one try second time? Is it advisable to try a cycle immediately when wifey gets her periods after abortion? Or it makes sense medically to wait for a few months before trying again? Also how does the equation change if diagnosis was â€œPoor Responderâ€. With depleting ovaries will waiting for few months do more harm? How significant would 3-4 months gap be?

I suggest u all go to Doc.Nirmala Aggarwal.She is a very good infertility expert in Delhi at Sant Parmanand Hospital.From last five years I have been to most of the known infertility docters in Delhi but believe me I never found a docter like her.She will tackle your problem and then she will send u to Dr. Anoop Gupta for IVF if needed.

I am leaving 2 chennai this mth end. i shall Keep u posted reg Dr geetha Hairpriya.

U mentioned u had 3 falied ivf cycles... i really wonder why all three falied inspite of ur doing well healthwise.

My case is different i have pcos... and my husband sperm count varies from time 2 time... so we opted 4 IVF With Icsi...

Stay in tune. Shall keep u posted with my news

exp with gg hospital

hi all
i am an nri and childless for sometime. one of my relatives suggested dr.kamala selvaraj at gg hospital chennai as their neighbour had conceived with her treatment.

dh and i flew in to chennai for a consultation.i wouldnot recommend that hsopital to anyone.the doc sees on an average 60 patients in half a day.and the scan is done by a technician!!!!! i had already been through 20 trans-vaginal scan over a period of 6mnths(infertility treatment abroad)and they were done only by a radiologist. the time taken is alomost 30mins.at gg it was 5mins.then visit the doc in the next room and she will just have a glance of the report and ur previous history and say ok schedule a lapro start iui .....its just trial and error..and believe me if u go through a trial and error then u are in for a serious case of depression.

heard that malpani clinic in mubai is good..any feedback on that people...

Eager couples,

U can leave ur specimen- sperm- frozen and leave 2 US . Ur wife can stay in pune for 2mths and complete her 2nd Ivf.
Taking the cost in to account i feel this will wk out for u guys.. Don't worry all will be okie..

I am planning to see two Drs. Dr Kamala of GG Hospital & Dr geetha hairpriya of prasanth.

Where did u do ur Ivf? Did they give any specific reason for the failure?

I have read the success stories of dr geetha...If u have nt seen her give a try.

I did @ GG only, No specific reason,I am not having any problems,only my husband has...even though i got good embroyos ,i didnt pregnant...so this time ,we planned to visit a couple of doctors in chennai,one is Dr ThangamVarma from Madras Medical Mission 2)Dr Geetha haripriya
3)Dr Korula George,CMC ,Vellore...we r going to india on MAR...we heard that thangam varma is good and in cmc ,quality is good...we read abt geetha haripriya only in vikatan ...give ur ideas////

Hi,
I feel u should wait for 1-2 mths before u start up with ur nt IVF.

I have heard from my friend who underwent the same situation as urs.. She did her 2nd IVF after 2 mths gap.

Personally i feel u should relax for while till everything get backs to normal.

All the very best. We r planning for our First IVF In chennai nt mth. Fingures crossed.... let us pray to god to wish us with good luck this yr.

Thanks. Consulting with others, I heard similar message. It would make sense to wait for couple of months to relax mentally and physically as well. The main reason behind the dilemma was we are from the US and are currently in Pune for the IVF. So we would need to return to Pune again for next IVF after 2 months.
