Hi Hetal,
My son is 1 yr old and the problem is that is refuses to drink cow' s milk or any formula milk. day time is fine as he eats properly but at nite he wants my milk every half an hour or max an hour. i have tried everything like patting him giving him water at nite but as soon as i keep him down on the bed he gets up and again he wants my milk to go to sleep. i just dnt knw wht to do as by the time its morning i m exhausted with no enerygy left feeding him. i have tried giving him milk through a bottle a sipper and even an glass but failed. i have absoulutely lost my patience and dont know wht to do .pls help. this is his diet for the day
9.00 am:little milk with badam powder
10.00 Ragi
11.00 to 12.00 :sleep
1.00 pm chapati or rice with dal or any vegetable or sumtimes egg
he then sleeps for sumtime in the afternoon
5.00 pm 6 biscuits with milk or fruit
7.00 pm sumtimes sum fruit or crackers
8.00 to 8.30 pm dinner like ceralac, chapati, rice, egg, dal
9.30 banana
10.00 bf before he sleeps

Plz advice wht can he done. his stomach seems quit filled up before he sleeps but then he gets up very often for milk and if i feel his tomach that time it is actually empty so i bf him.

Hello Sheetal,

I can empathize with you. The best thing you can do is let him cry. He' ll cry for two or max three days and then settle.

Sing a lullaby, pat the baby and very resolutively show him that you don' t want to give him milk.

His diet seems find.

Regards,
Shilpa

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
