Hi,

I am in my 32 weeks pregnant and i have a 3 & 1/2 year old daughter. I stay in US and due to some unavoidable circumstance no one from India is coming to help in the time of my delivery and later.

If anyone gone through the same stage please give me some advice as how to manage two without hlep and any advice from any one can be very help ful
for me.

Everyone of my friends saying that its too tough
to manage so i am very much scared .

Please give me advice.

Congratualations on your pregnancy.I have not gone through such situations because we are used to too much support from the family.All I want to say is think positive.Dont let worries disturb you.God has been kind in giving you one healthy child and it is by his grace that you are pregnanat again.things will fall in place and the new born would come.It may be difficult to manage but worries would only make it more difficult.Take support from your neighbours etc.It is manageble though difficult but with internal strength and faith evrything can be solved.
My best wishes. ANU replied. Congratulations on your pregnancy. I have two kids and I could manage without anyone coming from India for both pregnancies. My little one was born in March this year. It was very hard for the first time but this time, it was really much better. I got my husband more involved in the baby care. Taking care of baby and the toddler was ok, but to be honest, I neglected myself a lot. Please take care of yourself. Do not worry about cooking and cleaning until you feel all better. Once again, its not very hard. Infact, I was more comfortable doing the things I liked when I liked after delivary. This would not have happened if someone came from India. My husband was not very supportive, but this time I was not expecting any support emotionally from him. I made myself strong. This helped a lot. My first child is a boy (4 1/2 years old ) and little one is a girl (7 mos old ). They are both great with each other. Though it was really hard for me to bring 'em into this world, I think its worth all the pain. I'm proud of myself to be able to do it without any help. You will be proud of yourself too. Just focus on the older one since the baby does not need too much attention for the first two months of her life. Take care and all the best.
