Hi Girls,
Just wanted to share with you that I had surprise shower on Sat. Actually, at my work they were planning to give me a shower, but then suddenly I had to stay home, so they had to cancel it. But, then last week they contacted my husband and told him they were all gonna come to my home on Sat to surprise me.
It was kinda funny, cuz I was in a weekend mood, not even taking shower till late and my husband had to tell me that one of his new friend is coming over, so I better get ready. And, I did but I was mad at him for not telling me earlier, and later when door bell rang, I opened the door and there were all my friends from work. It was really a big surprise!:)
We had fun with food and cake and stuff. I also got lots of gifts.
This was the second shower I had. I already had my traditional shower last month at my mom's place. It was also different and fun.
Did anyof you already have traditional shower?

Opening the door and seeing all your co-workers at once must have given you a shock, a real exciting one. You have good & caring people around at work. Glad to hear that you had lots of fun.

I am in the same boat as Avi, not many relatives and friends here. So, I wouldn't be having any shower whatsoever. I don't think I'll have any suprises either.

hetal replied. oh that`s realy a great news. surprise shower is more like than arranged & traditional. at the time of my first baby v do a traditional baby shower but all arranged by me and my husband b`coz my parents r in india so v both r alon so v do but u understand what the feeling. here people do a baby shower every time i also like to do a baby shower once again but that is not a traditional way but north america styel but my parents still not came to canada so ...........may not possible

Most of my family is in the East coast and in India, so I dont think I will have a traditional baby shower.
