Hai,

I have been suffering from PCOS before my marriage.I was on birth control pill until marriage(for 1 yr). But after marriage i am trying to become pregnant but i couldn't. Still i have mild PCOS & i am on treatment with SIPHENE, METMORPHIN & FOLLIC ACID tablets for the past 3 months but still i am not able become pregnant. Will someone give an better idea...PLS...

I think I am late for this reply. But may be it will be help another. I have also PCos. I am in USA. I took metformin and chromate. and around I got pregnanat after3-4 months. I got pregnanant after 2 years. Here my previous doctor did not identify me for pcos. And I did IUI also. now my baby is 18 months old. and I am trying for 2nd baby also with same process.

Dear Shanthi,

I was diagonised for PCOS 3 months ago.

And i am on \" METFORMIN\" . My doctor sait it helps in curing pcos.But you had earlier stated that your medicine' s name was \" METMORPHIN\" . Please check the spelling again.

Some people say that women get pregnant after taking \" Metformin\" for 6 months. Anyway consult your gynaecologist before doing anything.
