Crying & Colic:finger sucking......

My baby is 6 months old and has developed a habbit of sucking his two fingers whenever he is not busy....he does this even when he is asleep...
if i try to pull out his fingers it is a great discomfort fot him, he doesn't settle till the time the finger are back in his mouth.
I invite ur suggestions.....

Give the baby a pacifier/dummy. Many babies like to suck and there is new evidence that they do it in the womb. They find it comforting, but there is no harm done. You can convince them not to do it when they are older!

If you r breastfeeding try giving him enough time to suckle ur nipple after each feed. i think it should slove ur problem
