Hi wouldbe mommies!
hope you u all are doing fine...

i have a question...
does anyone of you feel numbness in fingers and hands?

Actually i've been experiencng this for about a month now.. usually it worse in the morning when i get up.. my hands are totally numb.. fingers are swollen.. even thers pain in my wrists...

i asked abt this to my doctor, but he says theres nothing we can do abt it! its part and parcel of being pregnant :((

my weight was normal before pregnancy.. its 22nd week, and till now I've gained about 4 kg.. i hear that pregnant women will have swollen legs sometime in 7th month.. so i'm quite worried that now itself i'm having swollen fingers.. what'll happen next ! :(

dhanu! good to hear from you!
I dont get the numbness in fingers or legs.....but i guess u must reduce salt intake....try drinking lot of water...i've heard that barley water is very good for swollen legs ...that will help u to urinate often....
where r u from? cover your hands with gloves and your legs with socks before you sleep....maybe the cold is making u feel like that....
pls. do keep updating abt your health!

thanks for replyign so promptly!

i used to stay in Denver, Colorado usa for 2 yrs then New jersey for a few months.. but now nack to india for good... or at least for a a few years for sure... :)
I'm in bombay as of now...
so i don't think the swolen fingers etc are bcos of cold..

i guess i drink more than enough water.. but yes, definitly i can reduce salt intake.. actually really love salty/spicy food.. and even more these days! bhuttas, guava sprinkled with salt... yummmmm! :))
so... that might be the reason.. .well i will definatly try to reduce and lets see...
