Due Date Club December 2004:Blood in Stool

Name: Nav I noticed few drops of blood in stool today.I am not constipated but why this happened? First I was scared to see it but I made sure it is not from vagina.Is it something alarming? Why my pregnancy is full of troubles?

Blood in stool

Even if u r not constipated, sometimes little harder stools cause very minor cuts in ur rectum while pushing & that could be one reason for rectal bleeding. As long as u don't have any itching, burning or pain in ur rectum, it's nothing serious. But if u have something of that sort, u need to tell ur doctor. Drink more fluids & it goes away. Take care!

Nav.. u don't need to go but call ur doc asap.. these are the things where they don't need to see us and can suggest something over the phone.. let her decide if she wants to see u or not but call her NOW..:-)

Hemorrhides

Dear Naveena,
Two possibility, a mild constipation associated with hemorrhides. This is normal in pregnancy. Talk to your Dr. about stool softner.

Or may have some mild infection, won't bother your little one, just have stool examined for possible infection.

No, your pregnancy has no complications apart from weight thing, mostly due to depriving essential nutrients in diet. Otherwise you are doing touch wood!

seems everyone is busy ,busy alot. For me too life is hactic. But i do not forget to take a break in between either a movie or party or go out on weekends. Last 15 days i had all.
