hi
i am worried a my baby is completing 9m and doesnt even lift herself up on her knees and doesnt sit.her fine motor skills are superb.she holds things, transfers them from hand to hand.throws things,has a fine pincer grasp.Infact she even understands that her pressing the remote wud do something to the tv.she moves around by rolling and pulling on her stomach sideways.

I am worried about her health.she weighs 8 kilos.i started solids after 6 months and she started to actually eat properly after 7 months.in fact her weight gain is less after i started on solids.please advice.

you dont have to worry.as long as your baby is mobile its fine
my daughter started sitting only around 11 months and her weight gain is only a pound in 2 months but her paediatrician says this is very normal
be happy and all the best

Hi,
You will have to be just a little bit more patient and also help her roll her over by yourself and show her how to, my hubby and I would do this also do massages for our girl, as far as eating solids and slow weight gain, milk intake should still be 25 ounces per day milk is very imp for baby's growth that helps in weight gain too, I had teh same prob with my girl. good luck,
ps: what does the doc have to say?

the doc has told me to be patient since she has developed other skills.she does roll over by herself and we helkp her to sit by propping her up by pillows..is it harmful for the spine??

since my baby has constipation i dont give her any other milk other than breastmilk..how can i know if it is sufficient?

One year old milestones !! Worried
Hello Mommies !!!
My son is one year old and he is not doing few things a one year should do !!
He does not point at things
He does not say Amma or any words
He does not pick up any objects and show to me

9.5 months milestones
