Hi
I am 11 weeks pregnant,so far feeling good.I have a job offer which will require 2 hr travelling one way.Any suggestions from you all to drive that much while pregnant.Please help I don' t have much time to decide.

I am also in my 11th week. Generally if you will consult a doctor they can say that its safe and you can travel. I am working and have noticed some of my friends faced problems because they were travelling around 3 hours a day. One of my friend lost her child in 5th month suddenly and doctors could not understand why? Then finally they guessed that it could be because of travelling. I am not trying to scare you but this is a fact.

So, I would suggest to avoid this much of travelling and try to find some other alternative.

That sure is lot of traveling in a day. You are speaking of 4 hrs on road. This may not create any negative impact (I believe) on your baby but its you who will feel extremely tried after 8 hrs work + 4 hrs travel. So think about it and if you have an option for looking out closer and not desperate for a job then speak to your husband and decide. Also your doc will know your health history so I spoke to my doc when I had to travel by air for my work in my first pregnancy. Good luck.
