Hey Aarti,

Even I had this fear when my baby wouldn' t sleep till i wrapped her at six months. What i did was till she slept I would wrap her and once she is fast asleep I would open her up. By doing this continously..she overcame that habit of sleeping with wraps...Hope this helps you too.

Hi,

my baby turned 3 months today. i wrap her to put her to sleep. that way she sleeps for 2-3 hours. but now she has started opening the wrap pretty soon. can anybody provide suggestions on making the baby sleep thru the night? my baby sleeps at around 10-10.30 (usually wrap her and then rock her to sleep) and then wakes up 2-3 times to feed. this makes me sleep late but i can' t continue doing that as i need to start work soon. please help.

Hi vineetha,
Bath her twice in evening too then give her a good massage with lotion , then give her milk , take her for little walk and put them in a room with no sound and a night lamp don´ t play .They will go to sleep nicely by ur massage and bath with warm water. Take them inbetween in night give them milk once don´ t talk or play .they will wake in morning freshly .Since i got a 5 month baby i was happy with her sleep from 2nd month , she will go to sleep by 9P.m and sleep upto 6 in morn inbetween 12 i will take her and feed in her sleep. Once u practice a routine then will know it is going to be dark and will be bored will sleep automatically . one week u find difficult but once they got will be easy.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
