Mekha, its very common to get a mood swing. Fortunately for me, I got a mood swing in positive direction and I am more stronger, funny isn't it? But one of my friend is going thr a bad patch. She got so much mood swing that she almost stopped working. For first 3 months I used to feel whether I am really pregnant or not? I used to get very confused but since I started to show and started to get kicks I felt confident. Nowadays my baby is hitting me so hard that some time I have to stop walking in the middle and listen to what she/he is saying :)

Girls, people here can request for a video of baby when they do ultrasound. At the end of 9 months, they get all taped. I wasn't aware of it till last week, I will see if my Gynic has a video of my last U/S.

Padmaja, I can understand all your feelings for friends since I am also going thr the same. I have just changed my house and have been calling everyone to a housewarming party. All my weekends goes in that. But it seems my baby like to listen to all those new voices, she is really very active that time. All the pain for the little wonder.

Girls, I have problem breathing when I sleep. I always get up in middle of night, also started nosebleed again, I think again because I put on A/C entire night but there is no option to me since temp. here is going upto 30,31 with lots of humidity and I get problem breathing.

Hey, baby name searching is my husband's headache. I have told him to search good name. Always when he comeup with some name, I don't like it, so he has to search again. Its keeping him busy :)

Jyotsna, cheer up!!! and in few months time you will have your little one with you. All pain for the little wonder. Mumbai seems to be very rainy last week. Read news that all trains and everything was stand still. Good for you that you are taking rest these days.

I am really looking forward to my next appointment with Gynic next week. Since she will advise whether its safe for me to travel. I am really missing all those chatpata food, bhel puri and all. I started to like sweet these days. Although I try to eat less but can not resist if there is anything already available :)

Hey ive been down in the dumps too..feel incredibly low and so lethargic ever since ive been asked to rest.Im reading a lot,a book a day(not on babies though).I havent moved out of home since a week,the back pain is much bettter although no car drives or jerks yet.Will go for my GD and blood check this weekend.
Do any of you have intuitive feelings on whether you are going to have a boy or a girl.I feel i am gonna have a tomboy--that is a Girl who will be like a tom boy!!!--lol.
This time round being the jaded mom that i am,ive decided to pick up very basic stuff for the new baby.We have a little cot already but a musical mobile i recollect was indispensable.We did buy a car seat etc later.

Hey there girls, its been a while since I logged on, have been busy with friends who visited us last weekend, sometimes its fun to be close to NY city, statue of liberty etc etc but not this time around, no offence to anyone but I needed my space!
Anyways life is pretty much the same, getting slightly uncomfortable to sleep and climb the stairs.Wow the joys of pregnancy!
Sakhi, we are also looking into baby itmes like crib and stroller/ car seat, we went few weeks back to \";babiesrus\"; and decided what we wanted but yet to purchase them. I am really looking forward to holding this baby, can't wait another three months!It seems so long but here we are all in the final home stretch! How have you been? Good luck with your appointment and GD testing. Keep me posted.
Mekha,all my appointments these days go the same way as yours, measuring the belly and checking the heart beat, I am waiting for those 2 week appointments though, guess reality will set it then!! As far as feeling weepy and happy goes, joys of pregnancy girl!
I go through those phases too my dh says he feels helpless when I have these moodswings ! I can very well relate, there won't be any reason to feel emotional about, sometimes I think of my childhood and feel weepy, to tell you the least. So hang in there.
If you girls talk about weather, I can talk volumes. It is so DAMN hot in NJ and this humidity is killing.When people said I am brave to go through summer pregnancy I just thought they were kidding since hot summers we are used to even in India but guess I am really beat. This weather takes my energy away!
Jyotsna, how are you doing with your sciatic pain? Hope you are feeling much better, just saw your post about meneka Gandhi's names book. I heard about this from a friend, wish we get some nice nice Indian name books here in US of A. We are still hunting for both girl/boy names. Any input is appreciated from you girls !

Yesterday i had an appointment with my doctor. She hasn't done much except measuring my belly and check the heartbeat. She may do the GD test next visit.

Nowadays sometimes i am very emotional and feel like to cry. I know its crazy because there is no reason behind being emotional. Have you ever felt like that during pg?

Guys my doctor says i have to go for another u/s next month because my first u/s result was all messed up. I am very happy that we could see our baby again ..lol Padmaja, where are you? Hope you are doing fine. Jyotsna How is everything going with you? How is mumbai's weather? Here sometimes weather is very hot so have to take shower every two hours.
