I always get stressed when exams are near. I am unable to focus on studies and my mind wanders away.I remember going into the exam hall and on turning over the paper, my mind just goes blank every time.How can i beat the exam stress?

Relaxing is crucial for beating exam stress. self-help techniques are very helpful in relaxation. Breathing techniques are very good for relaxation. Relaxing techniques includes the following steps: Close your eyes and breathe slowly and deeply.
Relax each part of the body, from your feet to the top of your head.
After 20 minutes, take some deep breaths and stretch.
Regular exercise is an excellent way of coping with stress. Yoga, meditation and massage all have proven benefits in reducing stress and promoting relaxation. Last but not the least adequate sleep is very important for rejuvenation and relaxation.

Exam stress can be avoided by proper planning and following the tips:
Get hold of the right information from the start.
Try to start your revision in plenty of time. Take time to plan a revision timetable that´ s realistic and still flexible.
If you have a problem with concentration, you can improve it by starting with short bursts of study.
If you find it hard getting motivated, set yourself measurable goals for each revision session.
It´ s worth practising timed exam questions and papers.
