Due Date Club December 2002:Morning sickness?

Name: SG Do u all still have this Morning sickness of vomiting? I badly have it though for me it started when I was 2month into preg. After that I am fine. I just hate to open the fridge, smell of food :(( ... and hate to enter kitchen sometimes!! I used to luv cooking and all these have made me sick. I am just waiting when june will come!! hopefully it should stop in the 4month for everyone.

Nausea

I am not sure if is ok for me to not feel nausea till now. I am in 7th week of preg. Am I expecting any such changes too early.. I am very nervous for all such events to happen

Hi,
I think DK is right.Only 50%of the pregnant women get morning sickness, nausea etc.I guess u are lucky not to have nausea.

Hi Smriti,

You are lucky not to have nausea. I read on few sites and my doc also said it is not necessary to have nausea during pregnancy, some lucky women doesnot feel nausea at all.

Enjoy your pregnancy. By the way when are you due ?

Hi,
When does it normally start ? i've felt giddy in the morning y'day and today.No vomiting so far.Am bit nervous on thinking about it .

Start in 2nd month

Hi Kavitha,

Nausea generally starts in 2nd month, atleast for me. I donot throw the food but I feel always like vomitting. This happens to me anytime a day. If it is very much then you need to consult doctor for some tablet. Donot take any medicine without consulting doctor. For me my doctor told me not to take any medicine, as this is very normal.

Not all are that lucky

well i sincerely hope that ur nausea ends at the 4th month. For my wife it still exists. Shes in the 6th month.
shes having medicine for it and with that its under control. Else earlier without medicine she used 2 sleep all day. not eat a morsel. anyways wish u the best.
