Hi,

Next month we r planning to visit Tirumala at that time I wanted to offer my base length curly hair to the God Venkateswara, but I am at loss of courage, please give me courage, and are there any suggestions from your side? Is there any care to be taken? what is the formality to be followed before shaving? I heard that the barber wets the hair before shave, why it is like that. I frustrated with my base length curly hair, I am having dandruff and lice which itching me a lot. First I thought to go for a crew-cut in a beauty parlour, but later changed my mind for complete shave, please suggest me which one is the best. ram replied. Hi Manasa,

Anjali Sh replied. well i had headshave at tirumala last year ..... actually i went to tirumala when i wasnt getting marraige proposals... so i vowed that i would shave my head after i get married

so we went last year when i gave birth to my son ... so i told my husband about and this so we decided to go and get our headshave.

actually i had hair lengh below my waist and jet black and thick...i never had short haircut since i come from very traditional family .... a haircut a complete no no .... i parents had shaved my head when i was 1 year old...

actually i never wanted to cut my haircut and headshave a completly no no.

since tensions were high at home when i wasnt getting marraige proposals i took a vow ... i never thought of the future.

when days started nearing i started getting nervous and even my husband to sensed it.

when we went to tirumala they day before the headshave i applied oil to my hair for the last time and then braided it.

next day we went to new complex that has been built at tirumala... so went to the complex and took three coupons ..for my husband my baby and for myself.

i told my husband to go first and i would go last .... finally when both of them shaved thier heads it was my turn... i sat down cross legged ... the barber told me to untie the braids since thet were heavily oiled..... then he put little water omn my head and stright with razer he started shaving my hair ... slowly my locks started tumbling down and started collecting on my lap ... after he shaved my hair completly my husband told him to shave my bald head again ... and finally it was over... i got u seeing and oiled locks omn the floor...

after the head shave i have never grown my hair below bob cut because thats wht suits me and discovered i headshave

I am from chennai and I am a house wife. 2 years ago, when we had gone to tirupathi, my mother in law & sister in law also shaved thier heads along with my husband to fulfill their vows. After seeing a lot of ladies getting shaved there, I also felt like doing that. Though I am religious I did not dare to go bald at that time. I got tonsure when I was a kid. This time, we are going for our daughters mottai, I am also planning to get my midback length hair shaved. My husband also suggested that idea sometime ago.

for dandruff sister take white vinegar add little water and apply in ur scalp in with massage leave 1 hour after wash it
pick thulsi leave spread on ur pillow and mak ebed ur hair and head on that
lice will go off
if u want shave make it maa
just take token for headshave and u have wait in the line for that
after just sit infront of the barbar
by cross legged
he will make apply more water and massage ur head and one bun at ur hair end.
by the straight razor he will make start shave from ur middle head.

because one day i went to my cousin's home.she was crying


i asked her she told me now i am ready for head shave.because she affected by heavy dandruff.The doctor's medicines were doesnot working.but she has 70cm hair.i was shocked.


From my childhood days i know beauty and haircare tips and i know mage also.so i took her problem to solve.i was working for this probs for 1 month.after it is cleared.now she has 80cm


hair(below her butt)with thick density.





that day if i go after 1/2 hour she will got headshave.but by me


she recovered.from that day i have decided no one goto headshave or get mental worry by hair problem.





yet,around 50 members are recovered by me from this problem.

In tirupathi, people offer their hair in full of devotion to God. I think it is better way to enrich our inner religious consciousness and also full head tonsure is the best cure for dandruff and lice problems. Wetting the hair makes tonsure process easy. I am also getting my head shaved there when we visit tirupathi on september.
