Tanya replied. A chinese calender is given on this site only. It asks u to give yr age and month of conception. So, put yr actual age and an assumed month of conception, say June, which is next month. It will give u the result if it will be a boy or girl. If it's a girl, u can put next month, say july as a month of conception along with your correct age, it will give u a new result. Go on till u get the BOY in result. In that month u get the result as a BOY, , you should plan to conceive. Remember, \";month of comception\"; is the MONTH 14th DAY AFTER YOUR FIRST DAY OF LAST PERIOD. Remember, this is only 99% correct.
I calculated this way for my own and determined the sex of the baby, it was true ! I tried to find out for others,just for fun sake and most of them were true ! This can be used in combination with other methods of planning too. So, try it....

i agree to all that natalie wrote to you. just a little more info....sperm y are alkaline in nature. so if the wall/ fluids on the vagina are alkaline then the chances of them serviving the entire route to the egg will be more. if your vagina is acidic then it tend to kill the y chromo.
food which have low sodium contents shld be consumed and also eat very minimal salt. you can search on the net for foods which increase the alkalinity.

There is no fool proof method of getting a baby boy, there are ways you can improve your chances a little but like lotto is all a matter of luck. For example, there is a theory that the sperm that carry the Y chromosome (which make a boy) are a fraction lighter than the sperm carrying the X chromosome (which make a girl). This means that Y sperm travel a little bit faster than X sperm so if there is an ovum(egg) waiting in the fallopian tube already, there is a slightly increased chance that the Y sperm will get there first and fertilize it. Which means that you should have intercourse right after you ovulate to make sure that Y sperm get there first. Since sperm can live up to 72 hours in the uterus, if you have intercourse 72 hours before ovulation, any of the sperm already there can fertilise the egg - so timing is important. Some people swear by this method, but personally i wouldn't bank on it 100%. Medically there are ways of selecting only the Y sperm from the X sperm (again by the difference in weight) and than injecting the pre selected semen into the uterus at ovulation. Clinics promise a 90% success rate. I think the method is called sex selection, and i know they do it in clinics in India but not sure if they do it in US.
