writing to update. the baby wasnt moving tht much and even tho have read tht at this time there is space restraint for him or her, i felt uncomfertable and decided it was best to take the docs opinion.she immidiately ordered for nst, color doppler and asked for the manning score.

by Gods grace nst was reactive, score10/10,growth acc to gestation- parameters varied btw 34 and 36weeks( iam 35w4d acc to lmp 22/4/2005).wt at this stage is 2558grams.But the report also says- 1 LOOP OF CORD AROUND THE BABYS NECK.

MY QUESTIONS

1. how will the cord around neck affect the baby?

2. r there chances tht it comes out of the neck on its own?

3. what r the precautions to b taken so tht the baby isnt affected adversely?

4.is baby wt ok? what will the approx wt of the baby b at birth- will it gain more wt after36 week completion?

one loop of cord can be resolved or complicated, depends on fetal movements. Keep eye on your baby movement. Most of the time they resolve such loop. As long as there are good movments no worries. Anything concerns give a call to your OB.
2. there is nothing precautionary you could do to avoid.
3. if the loop gets in tight knot then a problem but chances are slim.
4. baby weight is 5 pound 9 ounces is alright for the gesation.
