Due Date Club April 2004:appt update

dear all,
i had my 36th week apt today. had group b strep bacteria test done. and also doc chekced my cervix. my baby is in the head down position. she could feel the babys head :).there is not much change to my cervix. its still closed. doc said that its normal.. from next week onwards i will be having weekly appts.

hi tina,happy to hear that u r so close to ur due date now,it really feels so good that u can have ur baby in ur arms within some weeks.i am in my 33 rd week now,still some more weeks to go.the names u have finalised are nice-i liked akhil more than rahul.anyways,keep us informed.take care.

i too am having my ppointment of 36th week this weekend... wow so all of us are so close to our due dates..so tina yu seem to have finalised on nmaes,, iam still on the hunt.. today am plannign on washing all baby clothes and stacking ... .. have you all done that???

sharmila, I think your baby's head is down b/c you feel baby kicks in the upper tummy, that's where your's baby's legs are located.

i have finished baby shopping.. atleast the things i will need first. i washed everything last weekend and still packing the bag.

Glad to hear that things are fine with you and the baby. I have my 36 w appt. on Saturday. Befor that I have to do a blood sugar test tomorrow. I hope my little one had changed position. Do you feel the change externally? I cant find any difference. Only sometimes i feel the kicks above my belly button.

dont worry sharmila, almost all babies change to head down position. your little one would also.
externally i dont feel any change. but when i feel at the bottom, i feel something hard and round. try doing that.. i too feel the kicks above only sometimes. sometimes i feel all the movement down. maybe its the hand..
