Here are some of the warning signs that we need to be aware of (I found them in a newletter I receive when I go in to see my doctor)

- Menstrual like cramps. This cramping occurs in the lower abdomen just above the pubic bone. It may come and go in a regular patttern or be constant
-low, dull backache. May come and go in a regualar pattern of be constant
-pelvic pressure/intermittent pains in the lower abdomen, back or thighs. This pressure is sometimes described as heaviness in the pelvis. It usually occurs in a rhythmic pattern.
-Intestinal cramping. This can be with or without diarrhea
-Increase or change in vaginal discharge. This discharge may increase to a heavy(mucous like) watery or light bloody discharge..

Note: do not wait for warning signs to go away! Call your doctor or labor and delivery if you experience the above mentioned symptoms...

Take cAre and get lots of rest whenever you can..

Hi Avi,

Thanx a lot for sharing such useful info. As I'm nearing the D-day, becoming more and more nervous and anxious about how is it going to be. these tips will surely help.

BTW did u go for ur 3hr GTT??? Hope all is well. Do keep us posted on that.

glad you found the info to be useful, Nikita..
I feel the same that one day in November. Anxious and SCARED..

I finally did go for my 3 hr test today (I missed it yesterday), it was sooooo boring to sit there by myself and wait and wait and wait only to drink that sweet yukky drink be pricked 4 times. Boy, I sure am glad I'm done with it though..we'll see how the result turns out, my fingers are crossed.....will surely keep you updated..

Hi Avi. These tips are very handy, hope we don't have to go through it though. Rest is BEST. So trying to do the same in the evenings now. Hope you get plenty of rest too.

Hi Avi. Well done for doing your 3 hr GTT. I'm sure the result will be good. Yes, I sure am tempted to sort few other things out in the house, but will take ur suggestion and will let hubby do all the hard work from now on for some time at least!!

Hey Simmi, glad to hear that you are feeling today...
I dont think BH follow any pattern....and I heard that some women might never experience them.....like you said "Rest is BEST" :)

You have lots of fun at the b'day bash and eat lots of cake and other yummy goodies....
and remember to leave the cleaning upto your hubby this weekend..we have a good excuse now, so we might as well take advantage of it.. :)
