Now that my due date is preponed, I'm getting prepared for those busy days. Friends, is nursing bra and pads necessary during first 3 months of breast feeding? Please share your thoughts and ideas...

sree

nursing bras and pads are compulsory as far as i know.first few months will have lots of milk production due to the weight of which breasts will tend to sag heavily.a nursing bra will cause lesser sagging by giving firm support.
regarding pads,one of my friends who recently had a baby told me that it is individualized.some women have heavy milk production and milk also tends to leak out causing drenching of clothes and embarassment.whereas some dont even need them coz the problem is not severe.i suggest u buy them and in case u dont use them u can as well return them/exchange them.

Its good to buy and keep atleast 2-3 pair of NB and a box of disposable pads if u r planning to breast feed your baby. And yes from what I heard its a must have in the first couple of months after delivery as that is the time your body will be producing more milk.

I think you should have nursing bra as well as nursing gown to provide proper feeding to the child because it is neccessary to feel comfortable at the time of breast feeding .
As all my friends has taken the same so I have already bought a pair of nursing bra & nursing gown both.
My delivery is due on 7th April
Rest all fine .
