I am planning to consult Dr. Amit Patik in Worli. If any one could share there experience or give any input regarding Dr Patik. I would appriecate it. Thanks.

I had donor IVF with Dr.Patki. Within the first week of taking the medizine he gave, i started bleeding.

Dr.patki kept increasing the dosage and he kept telling me and my husband he did NOT know why i was bleeding.


I had very small fibroids which six other doctors, including the hospital which did the scans said they CANNOT affect a pregnancy.


Though i was bleeding very very heavy Dr.patki insisted on doing the implantaion.

We being laymen KNEW this cycle would fail even before the implantation, and five days after implantation ofcourse i was bleeding so heavy nothing remained.


After few months, i went to see few other doctors and they were shocked my Dr.Patki attitude and even adviced me to report him!!

I also got to know Dr. Patki did only two years of actual ivf in india and before that he was learning in the UK. Yes, he has a lot of knowledge in ivf BUT HE HAS NO PRACTICE IN IVF WHICH IS A VERY ImPORTATNT THING!!!!

I have bad experience
i have done 2 IVF Cycle every time he gave different reason for unsucess
u hav to wait for 4-5 hours every day visit for 2 minits discussion or scanning
this time he told that the eggs quality is not good but same thing he dont tell in 1st cycle

You are correct about Patki.

Even if u have had 10failed IVF attempts at other clinics, he will never bother to advice you to do a HGS. Why should he,he gets his money from ignorent us!!

My cousin had her eggs fragmenting and he just went ahead and implanted them and her IVF failed!!

I was told if they freeze my embryo, it will have low rate of success and told me he does NOT advic for me to freez my remaining embroys though they were perfect in quality!!

He is in short NOT qualified enough and he shows a very angelic face but he is a very CRUEL and RUDE man-i am talking from experiance.

hi sorry I did not reply. I visited the dr patki and I am happy with the visit and I have started with second cycle Ivf with him. First cycle was in US. He takes his time to talk to patient and the staff is very polite. Hope this feedback is helpful. Good luck

IVF via Donor Sperm
Hi, we are planning for ivf via donor sperm as we have genetic history wherein my daughter is ASD and mine own brother is ADHD hence genetic counselor said there is risk of 15-20 percent of child being autistic if we use our own gamet. If male child is born the ​risk is higher than a girl child.
