My 6 month old son (born 7 weeks premature)has problem sleeping through the night. i' ve never seen him sleep more then 3 or 4 hours. He sleeps by himself, thats around 8 or 8:30 P.M.I feed him to sleep(BF). he sleeps for 3 to 4 hrs and is wide awake, and only goes to sleep at abt 1 or 2 A.M. then gets for a feed at around 3 or 4 A.M.I even tried to keeping him awake in the morning. Goes to sleep at between 8 and 9 p.m. then gets up after 3 hrs. only sleeps when he is sleepy. tried rocking him to sleep, singing nothing seems to be working. He is at his own will. I' m worried he does not have a proper 8 hr sleep yet.Pls help

1year child should not wakeup at night for milk ! it means that you are not giving him proper food tats why he is waking up.

Lavanya my 2cents to you.
give your baby proper food he will not wakeup at night.
check the feeding board for diet of 7months old :

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
