Hi ladies, I live in US and I have a question about ultrasounds done in India. Here by 12 weeks most ultrasound show tell if its twins. Do ultrasound techinicians tell if its one or two babies in India? My friend just had twins and she claims she didnt know ahead. Is it possible? Dont they need extracare when its twins? - Thanks

Hi Ram,
In India also, during the 12th wek scan the doctors will tell if its a single baby or twins. the details will be there in the ultra sound report also.

Thanks for the reply. I just wanted to know because I had a bet with my other friend who says they probably didnt know it. My point was are doctors in India so stupid not to realise they need extra care. Thanks for letting me know. - S
