My inlaws and parents are totally against us adopting. We live in different cities in India so we don't come in contact very often and I really dont care what they think.

But will the orphanages want to question them? Is there support necessary for us to adopt? Nandini replied. Vibha, dont t any one discourage ur idea of adopting a baby.What u think matters most. And in the process if an orphaned kid will get a luvly mother & safe home, I guess u shd jus go for it... If many more well to do people adopt kids we could avoid a lot of ill brought up kids & neglected kids..

All the best Purnima replied. hi! i think most agencies do ask questions as to what the parents feel about it, but what is most important is what the 2 of you feel about it. if both of you feel very strongly about adopting, i am sure you can convince them about it. nobody can resist a baby. do it!
