The messages posted helped me a lot to gain confidence that i can increase my lactaion. my baby is 34 days old.
I want to know
1)why baby cries even after breast fed properly ut sleeps after taking bottle feed.

2)Also baby always stretches her hands and legs during sleep with a growling sound and has a restless sleep.

had the same prob. found tht baby was not having enough of my milk, i was adamant on not to give bottle feed but after a month realised that he did not gain weight and had calorie insuffieciency. First find out in a day how many times ur child passes urine, keep it a test day offer him only ur milk and not bottle feed and see if the baby passes atleast 8 times urine then ur feed is suffiecient and has he gained weight from his birth weight if so u continue to give ur milk or not alternate ur milk with the bottle. It is a very difficult decision and till date i am yet to come to terms tht my feed is insufficient but when u see tht the baby is gaining weight and is active all ur worries will fly away. My son is right now 3 1/2 months and is healthy. all the best but even if ur able to feed ur baby just 10ml dont give up keep feeding him, i do so till now.
