I have been diagnosed with PCO and had 4 failed cycles of Clomiphene Citrate and 1 failed attempt of SO-IUI. We live in the Unites States and now considering IVF in Bangalore. It would be of great help to me if anybody could answer these questions:

1) Could somebody suggest some good fertility clinics in bangalore.

2) How much would it cost for IVF per cycle?

3) Does my husband need to accompany me for the IVF procedure or would it be ok with the fertility clinics if i could just get his semen in a dry-ice pack? This was suggested on Dr. malpani's website. I was wondering if anybody has done this before.

blr ivf centers,gunasheela ivf clinin(basavanagudi),dr. madhuri patil(near blr dairy circle)dr. nirmala(jp nagar)dr. kamini rao(BACC- sheshadri puram--not higly reccomended though).these are some i know. if u browse thru other msgs, u may come across someother clinics.
cost anywhere from 85,000-1.5 lac INR, depending on the clinic u choose & the amount of medication u need.
better once ur hubby accompanies u. he can give 1 sample for the current cycle & then another sample to be frozen & u can stay back for further cycles. this is what i did for my treatment. i had my successful treatment with gunasheela ivf clinic.

Hi Annie

we are been trying for 2 years to conceive,I have been diagonised with PCOS..I am taking Dupahston & Folic acid.My hubby was diagonised as Low Motility...having 30 motile and agglutination positive.My husband was taking FertylM for 6months..but till now no success.
We are thinking of going for IVF in Gunasheela Bangalore...
1) Could pls share ur IVF exp at gunasheela
2) My husband works in Singapore, do my husband needs to be present during the IVF Procedure.I saw msgs about sperm frozen..could you pls suggest whether we opt for this.
3) could you pls share wot would be the cost at gunasheela.

Hello Annie,

I am very glad to see your message. Thanks for your suggestion. I am leaving to US this week end. I am giving 3 to 4 semen samples before I leave. They said they will freez those samples and will use whenever they need. hi gova,
first of all wish you a very success in your endeavours. major precautions i took was after embryo transfer, i was staying at home only. did not life weight. did not eat any heaty food( i am a veggie)aviod foods like papaya, raw banana,eggs, cut down on meat if u r a non veggie. after ET, the nurse will give u all the instructions. no need to be on bed rest, but avoid sitting for a long time.
regarding the treatment procedure, like where to pay money, take injections etc the staff will giude you. just ask the ivf receptionists if u have any doubts. they are quite helpful.
most important never travel by auto or two wheeler after ET. i used to hire a taxi for my preg checkup, then later on for all my antenatal checkups.
