Adoption:Unmarried female wants to adopt

Name: Shyamala Hi, I' l be 24 soon. I' m single and prefer to remain so. I read the rules in CARA which says, singles should be 30 to adopt, but i read elsewhere 25 is ok. Is it possible to adopt now? And is it a necessity that my family should agree to my decision? I' m anxious. Pls help me through this..
