Hello P,

Hope you are doing fine.I am just waiting for more moms to join in our board so that it will become active.

I would like to know whether or not eating boiled egg and omlette in early stages of pregnancy is fine? I am 5 weeks pregnant.

Could you please tell me what all food to avoid. I know that we shouldn't eat papaya, sesame seeds, certain kinds of cheese and salad dressings. Anthying else other than these?

Take care and wish you a smooth and happy pregnancy.

With love,
blessed_mom

hey ,

i am alos waiting for the group to become more active ..hopefully that will happen sooon :)

As far as food goes .. i think we need to stay awzy from soft cheese , uncooked egg(so that is why we should not have salad dressing which might have uncooked egg) , fruits which can increase the heat of the body (like papaya and pineapple) ..also they say it is safer to have pasteurized milk which is what we have in US anyway ...

other than that .. i am eating everything .... i have not got nauseous yet ..so enjoying all i can eat ..:)

So hope you are on prenatals also ...

take care
-P

hello P,

thanks for your quick response. Yes I am prenatals. I actually have a doubt. I think Mango produces a lot of heat in our body, but why do Indian movies show a pregnant lady with an urge to eat mango when she comes to know that she's pregnant :)

According to your reply, I understood that it's better to avoid omelette, but boiled eggs are fine. Am I correct?
