Hi everyone, I'm doing fine & hope the same frm U all. Last week had tension days b'coz the cord was around the baby's neck, everything is going fine now .I'm in my 38th week & my Dr. has fixed the date for c-sec. i.e 26th dec since i had my 1st one c-sec. Getting more tensed day by day .

Hi Smr,

so, doctor can tell that baby has chord around neck by fetal monitoring .. okay .. i am in 35th week now ( 34 weeks 4 days) EDD 27th Jan .. and after reading Radha's story in Noov board, i am very tensed about this chord around neck thing. I am in UK where they do not do any scan in the 32-33 week or later as i hear they do in India/US, so I am a bit tensed abt it all ..
where are you from actually ? u stay in Japan, right ? I am originally from Kolkata, India but stay here in Manchester, UK.

Don't worry yaar in heart beat monitoring they can find out if it is... I'm frm B'lore , india & 11/2 yr back we came to japan.

hi Smr,

I have a query - how did u come to know that the cord was around the baby's neck ? could u /doctor feel it from outside or something like that ? is there any way to tell it by monitoring hertbeat/foetal movements etc ?

I had gone for my regular check up in 37th week. They did monitoring hertbeat for 20 mnts,that time only the Dr.told me abt this. Till that time evrything was fine.
U r in which week & when is ur EDD.

Have any of you pierced your baby' s ears? Where did you get it done? Were you able to change the earrings after the piercing and put on indian ear rings? My pediatrician does not do it, and she suggested that i take tanvi to the mall. Pls share your experiences at the mall if you' ve had any.
