Hi All

Hey ladies i was not able to acess internet for a long time.

My daughter is 2 months old now. haven't named here as yet. find it difficult to choose a suitable name.

she is totally on breastv feed as yet but will start formula feed in another month as i plan to join office in another 2- 3 months. she cries a lot but i feel her routine is changing now. she has started recognising and sleeps a bit in the night also.

U tell me how r u all doing, how r ur little ones doing?? and do u get time for urself at all??

tell me is there a disadvantage of formula feed??

i dont really want to quit working but haven't found a suitable maid as yet to whom i can leave my kid. am a bit worried these days.

hope u r all having a good time

do writein ur interesting stories.

take care

tamanna

Hiee there..
yeah...i know its been a long time to see ue posting...nowadays i find most of them thru our feb club sits instead thru this one
anyways no diff
thought i am at hime i found out last month that some days my breast milk amount suddenly decreases and then that day vedanth almost dries to his limit and i was forced to give him lactogen ...now its almost a month now that he takes my milk as well as lactogen...i give him max 3 times a day...ie early in the morning just before his bath or maybe after his bath so that he sleeps well...somewhere in the eveing around 7-8 when he acts too cranky...(i hate when he sleeps around that time becoz if he sleeps at that time he doesnt sleep soon during the night and ll at home have to stay awake becoz of him....my poor mom comes from office and stuggles with him )and then maybe at night just before his sleep...this is not a time table but as and when he requires
i don exceed this limit and the amount is as per his ped doc
u all gals too can try this...espeacially as u gals work!
this makes the kid feel full for a longer time and u too can rest for some time and they sleep well too
make sure u burp them well after this feed...else they sometimes throw out
take care and keep posting
Niti...heard from u after a very long time
keep in touch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Tamanana,

It nice to hear from you. Even for me as I was at my mom's place off lately I was also pretty quite on Board.

I have started working for half days & will be full day from next month onwards.

Same with me I am also looking for maid got some contact numbers of agencies... at the moment my mom in law is there but she will be leaving by next month. I am also worried but what to do...Trying to cope up with the new lifstyle working with baby around....

Keep posted about ur developments

Hi Tamana,

Great to hear from you and good to know you are coping well with motherhood and your bundle of joy is doing well.

My girl is also on breastmilk and I am planning to be home for a year but I have started gym and when I go away in the morning for 2-3 hours I pump milk in a bottle and leave it for my maid to feed her. You should try to do that instead of formula if you can but be sure to buy a good electric breast pump otherwise you will be expressing for a long time and get frustrated.

There is no harm in giving formula also. Infact, she will feel more full and probably even start sleeping through the night. But make sure she is burped well after the feeds, formula leads to a lot of gas, constipation and sometimes colic too.

All the best and keep in touch.
