1. RasMalai
Ingredients:
Dry milk powder 1 cup
All purpose flour 1 table spoon
Baking Powder half tsp
Egg 1 whole
Oil 1 table spoon
Liquid Milk 2 Litre
Sugar 3 serving spoon
How to Prepare:
Take 1 sauce pan and put the liquid milk and sugar in it at medium heat. Take another bowl and mix all the ingredients except the liquid milk and make small ball from the ingredients and put it in the boiling milk and keep stirring it. After half hour the dish will be ready. If you want put almond and pista.
2. Gulab Gamun
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1 tsp cardomom powder
3/4 cups all purpose flour
2 1/2 cups dry milk
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cardamom powder
1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
How to Prepare:
combine water and sugar in a pot and boil STIRRING CONSTANTLY (otherwise the sugar clumps and it doesnt come out right)
*do not over cook, stop once sugar is completely dissolved.
mix all column 2 ingreidents in a large bowl and mix completely, roll up into 1 inch balls.
fry in medium to low heat until golden brown. Take from pan and place immediately in syrup. serve warm or cool depending on preference.
3.Coconut Barfi
Ingredients:
1 cup coconut
4 cups milk
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp ghee
How to Prepare:
add ghee and coconut in deep pan, cook them until light brown/golden colour.prepare the sugar syrup in 3/4 cup of water, cook until until it becomes thick.now add the the milk and the syrup in coconut that you have prepared. cook on low heat until all the milk has been absorbed and the coconut starts living the sides of the pan. take out in a try and garnish with nuts. and leave it in the fridge for about an hour and then cut in to samll pecies and serve.
4. Gajjar Ka Halwa
Ingredients:
2tablespoons ghee
4 large carrots(coarsely grated)
400g can sweetened condensed milk)
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom.
1/3 cup(45g)slivered almonds,toasted
How to Prepare:
1.Heat ghee in a large pan, cook carrots,stirring,until soft.2.Add milk and cardamom cook stirring occasionally,until nearly all liquid has evaporated.stir in nuts.serve halwa warm or cold.
5. Falooda
Ingredients:
1/2 cup oil
1 choti lache
4 cups milk
1 cup sugar
1 packet Sipa(cut vermicelli)
1/2 gallon ice cream
Rooh Hafza
How to Prepare:
1)Take a pot and put oil and choti lache in it.
2)Then, take the packet of Sipa, and put only half of the cut vermicelli in the pot.
3)When the vermicelli starts to become a light brownish color, put in the milk.
4)When the milk starts 2 boil, u may then add the sugar.
5)When the saviyaa, or vermicelli, become thick, put it in the freezer 2 cool.
6)When you are about 2 serve, put the ice cream on top, and add some rooh hafza on top as well.
