Mine did not tell me anything and she just told me that if there is an emergency then we will not let you out of the hospital so don't worry. Instead of just doing the ultrasound, she also did a trans vaginal ultrasound. I am a little scared waiting for the doc to arrive and let me know the results. I hope things go fine.

ideally it is the duty of the doc/ technician to speak to the mother to be and allay her doubts
it is very very unprofessional of the tech
esp if she is a doctor which they usually are to not be clear with you
tahts really rude and stupid
as apatient u shd be more d3emanding of ur rights
ia m a doctor myself a pediatrician and so know what it means to pts when the doctors give them a [patient listening
anyways
take care next time
and changeur techinician if u can

7 weeks u/s

i am assuming you are talking about the 7 week u/s this is done transvaginally and they check for the heart beat itself usually the 20 week u/s done abdominally is more intense and precise the giv you alot of information for that one as it is also a check for downs/spina bifida.

Thanks for your reply. Ya i was hinting about the 7-8 weeks ultrasound. I got done yesterday. During my last pregnancy at about the same time they showed me how the baby was so active and stuff and gave me a few photos of the foetus. But this time was very quiet, not sure. So was just wondering.
