This is what I did when my baby used to behave exactly like how vedanth is now
I let her play for 30 min by herself, at this time I leave her on a mat, she keeps moving her arms and legs , cries a bit and
no one picks up her during this time , then I give her a long feed around 11pm ( thats when I go for sleep), she now sleeps
for next 4-5 hours then, when she wakes up I feed her / my mom feeds her formula.
we usually give her formula for 2 reasons, 1 - so that she can get used to formula and bottle as I have read in Nov and Dec
board members discussing they are having tough time weaning the baby to bottle and 2- reason, as bm easily digested, she
feels hungry soon, formula will make her feel full, she takes 1 complete bottle, then she wakes up around 7-8am ,
I have also heard that its good to hold the baby close and assure them that you are around,I usually rock her to sleep on my
lap and then put her on the cot, when Im not around, I leave my duppatta on her , she thinks Im around, and I can happily do
my things , my husband also holds her hand sometimes coz sometimes she gets up with jerk when she hears even small noises
like opening/shutting of door/ bangles sound etc. lastly, I think each child is different , I think you should try different
things before coming to one routine
hope things get better with vedanth
take care
