Name: Sarita Patil

Hi!!!My name is sarita. I have a 4 month old boy.Since begining he does not sleep well. He cries a lot. Other problem we have is he has itchy skin.We tried several lotions like Eucerin, Cetaphil..etc.as per the doctor. It helped on his body, but he has very dry skin around his ears and keeps on pulling his hair and ears. He does not have ear infection. We are very concerned about our babies health as he sleeps for about 6-8 hrs only and most of the times cries a lot. Somebody please help.....

Hi sarita,

my baby also has dry skin. dry skin later converts as atopic eczema.. we are using johnson' s baby sorbolene cream or QV cream... both are glycerine based.. our dermotologist suggested to use glycerine based cream. avoid using baby soap. apply sorbolene 3 times a day.

Hi Sarita, my baby has the same problem. For us, we use Aquaphor ointment all over the body 4 times a day or more depending on itch. Also we use 1% hydrocortisone on red areas, these 2 creams works like magic!

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
